LESS SEARCHING, MORE CLARITY
Client dossiers, risk assessments and documented decisions
A document without context or a warning without an outcome makes a dossier harder to review. The AML workspace brings together identification information, supporting evidence and recorded checks. The designated officer can see what has been entered, what is missing and which decisions have been documented. CRM contacts, business payments and AML dossiers remain separate records serving different purposes.
AML client dossiers and evidence
Complete the client’s identification information and attach confidential documents through the AML dossier. Missing-information checks help you prepare the next update.
Risk assessments, PEP and sanctions checks
Document risk assessments, PEP and sanctions checks, and the basis for your conclusions. Sources and results need review by the designated officer; a match is not by itself a final decision.
Internal AML signals and officer review
Record the activity, relevant indicators and verifiable facts. An internal signal enters the review workflow, where the designated officer documents the outcome and next steps.
FROM INFORMATION TO ACTION
From client information to an internal review
Open the dossier
Find or create the client in Clients and risk. A user with the appropriate authority completes the information and evidence under the agency’s procedure.
Record the facts
Review relevant sources and approved indicators. Support an assessment or internal signal with concrete facts and a reason, rather than an unsupported conclusion.
Document the decision
The designated officer reviews the dossier and internal signal, records a decision and determines the next steps. Reports to authorities are submitted through the appropriate official procedure.
IN EVERYDAY WORK
Example: a signal that needs more evidence
An agent records an unusual circumstance with the facts available. The designated officer opens the signal, reviews the dossier and requests further documents before reaching a conclusion. Both the original information and the review outcome should remain documented, rather than leaving an unreviewed alert without context.
Supporting the designated officer’s work
The app is not a legal adviser and does not guarantee compliance. The agency sets its procedures, checks current rules and sources, and makes decisions. An internal AML signal does not automatically file a report with USPN. This page describes recordkeeping features; use the competent authorities and professional advice for obligations and interpretation.
GOOD TO KNOW
Questions before you get started
Does a CRM contact automatically become an AML dossier?
No. CRM tracks requirements, offers and communication. An AML dossier holds identification information, assessments and evidence, and is completed through a separate workflow.
Who can access confidential AML documents?
AML access is assigned separately. Confidential documents are added through the AML dossier and its access controls, for users with the required permissions.
Does the app automatically report suspicious transactions?
No. An internal signal starts an internal review. The designated officer makes the decision, and any required report is submitted through the authority’s official channel.
Does the plan currently include an active AML AI assistant?
AML AI generation and chat are currently unavailable. Existing help text, records and saved history serve separate purposes and do not constitute an active AI service.
What is recorded with a PEP or sanctions check?
A check record holds the check type, source and its version, date, result and supporting notes. Possible or confirmed matches also record the name on the list. This gives the designated officer evidence to review the result in the context of the client dossier.
