LESS SEARCHING, MORE CLARITY
Track rent due and agency commission payments
A property’s sale price, monthly rent and the agency’s commission serve different purposes and have different due dates. Contract records preserve that context, while the charges view shows what needs attention. Draft status lets you review details before activation; history remains available when correcting a payment or recording a refund.
Rent, deposits and payment schedules
Record the start and end dates, monthly rent, payment day, deposit and commission. For partial months, choose full rent or a calculation prorated by day.
Sale contracts and agency commissions
Link a sale to a property, add the parties, price and deadline. Record commission as a fixed amount or a percentage with its own payment due date.
Payment records and correction history
For a received payment, save its date, amount, currency and reference. Void an incorrect record with a reason; the original stays in the history.
FROM INFORMATION TO ACTION
Managing a lease contract
Prepare the draft
Open Business → Leases → New contract. Enter the agreed details, link the property and save the draft.
Review and activate
Review the details and available contract PDF. When the record is ready, enter a status change reason and activate the contract.
Record received money
Choose Pay beside the relevant charge and enter the details from your payment records. After saving, check the outstanding balance and history.
IN EVERYDAY WORK
Example: commissions in different currencies
If the agency records one commission in euros and another in dinars, reports keep them separate by currency. Different currencies are not presented as a single combined amount. Select the period, agent and category that fit the business question you are reviewing.
The app keeps payment records
A payment or refund entry records money received or returned through your usual payment channel. These actions do not themselves transfer money, connect a bank account or replace an accounting system.
GOOD TO KNOW
Questions before you get started
Can I track a partial payment?
Record the amount actually received against the charge and check the remaining balance. Payment history retains the individual entries linked to that charge.
What happens when a lease is terminated?
The app retains the current month’s charges, cancels future rent and shows prepaid amounts available for refund. Review the balance and enter a reason before changing status.
Does recording a payment automatically fill in EOP?
No. Contracts and payments, EOP and AML records have separate entry workflows. Check and enter the required details in the appropriate register.
Can I download a business report in Excel or PDF format?
In Business → Business overview, set the date range, agent and category, then click Show report. Choose XLSX for Excel, CSV or PDF. Exports use the last applied filters: after changing a selection, display the report again before downloading. Availability depends on permissions for reports, finances and properties.
Why do rent charges and received payments differ in a monthly report?
Charges enter the period by their due date, while receipts follow the payment date. For example, rent due on 31 August and received on 2 September appears as an August charge and a September receipt. Check both dates on the contract and compare amounts in the same currency.
How can I review commissions charged and collected by agent?
In Business overview, set the date range and, if needed, the agent and category, then display the report. Agent performance shows charged and collected commissions separately by currency. Check the agent assigned to the linked records.
